IP Spy is a video application for CellVision compatible IP video devices (by CellVision, link-server.com, StarChip etc.). It allows for complex monitoring and device managing tasks using your local LAN/802.11b WLAN. IP Spy can configure your video devices and show them onscreen in single/multi-view and even "virtual patrol" mode. The user interface is intuitive yet powerful.

IP Spy was developed by GEMINI Softworks for Starchip Systems GmbH. It isn't maintained anymore but provides some features not found in IP View, for example better user management and a patrol mode to automatically switch views at predefined time intervals.

Note that StarChip has gone insolvent in the meantime, but many third-party vendors continue to sell identically constructed devices (like the CAS-200W IP camera). IP Spy is intended as a more user-friendly replacement for the IP View software shipped with these devices.
