Creatures 3 Genetics Lab is a powerful Creatures 3 / Docking Station genetics editor. The goal in development of this software was to supply the user with all the tools he could need for manipulating any aspect of his creatures in one single interface. Genetics Lab (or GeneLab, as most users also say) has a lobe viewer, a pose editor, an SVRules editor to manipulate brain processing and a genome administration tool.

Another advantage of GeneLab is its ability to handle several types of additional genome information not originally supported by the file format like formatted notes, inline readme files and copyright information. GeneLab achieves this by writing an additional chunk to the genome file ("glab" chunk). Other genetics software may not be aware of this feature, so a glab backup tool is also built into the program.

Last but not least, to support you in your first steps, GeneLab offers online help for all the gene types as well as a manual with some background information and program usage help.

Genetics Lab is freeware and may be used by everyone for non-commercial purposes.
